Job Summary:
The Knowledge & Program Management Expert will serve as a strategic advisor and technical expert in developing and implementing knowledge and project management practices for the client. This role requires a Secret Clearance and involves leading configuration control efforts, optimizing IT project management processes, and driving Knowledge Management/Program Management (KM/PM) maturity through collaboration, training, and continuous improvement.
*Contract Award Contingency: This position is being advertised in anticipation of a potential contract award and is contingent upon the successful award of that contract to our organization. If the contract is not awarded, this position will not be filled.
Job Duties/Responsibilities (List not all inclusive):
- Collaborate with stakeholders across client divisions to define a consistent IT project management approach
- Establish and lead a branch-level configuration control board (CCB) to guide KM/PM processes
- Interface with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify participation barriers and recommend solutions
- Build trust and credibility as a KM/PM partner by providing strategic guidance and support
- Analyze current KM/PM platforms and recommend IT capabilities that improve access to information
- Develop and execute a comprehensive KM/PM plan including schedules, roadmaps, and dashboards
- Promote and deliver KM/PM training to increase awareness and adoption across the organization
- Drive progress toward higher levels of KM/PM maturity by integrating technology, processes, content, and people
- Track and evaluate KM/PM activities and accomplishments to measure success and identify improvements
- Analyze usage metrics to assess trends and areas for enhancement
- Continuously evaluate and adjust KM/PM strategies in response to changing organizational needs

- Expertise in agile development, IT strategy, and data management processes
- Highly proficient with MS Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio), Adobe Creative Suite (Creative Cloud), and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite
- Meets U.S. citizenship and work eligibility requirements for federal contractors
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret level clearance, if required
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred), from an accredited college or university, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
- PMP certification highly preferred, CompTIA certification a plus
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in IT project and knowledge management, with demonstrated experience supporting government/defense environments.
